This week I continued work on my Subsystem Reports, and began preliminary work on my presentation.  I constructed a rough presentation that primarily served as an outline and as a starting point for further revision.  There was obvious room for improvement, and Ruth and I discussed how to present my project in a way that can keep the audience's attention.

Ruth also recommended I look over all the requirements within the Senior Project rubrics to assess whether I qualify for Honors or not.  My major shortcoming up to this point in the project is documenting my work in a way that is easily accessible.  In turn, it became clear to me that a website would be an excellent way to appropriately convey my progress and resources.  Given my background in computers, and how a large portion of my work originates from online sources, this is convent for me as well, since I no longer have to try to physically document every item.  Admittedly, its a bit late in the game for developing a website, and it would have been more useful if I had began it earlier, but nevertheless it is still a useful way to group my work and documentation together in a coherent fashion.

Over the coming week I plan to continue revisions to this website, finalize work on the CAD models, and hopefully get well underway in the creation of my presentation.

This project is dedicated to the crew of STS-107.

May we learn from our mistakes and improve the safety of manned spaceflight.
