Reassessment for Honors Qualification

Effectively Communicating and Documenting Your Research Progress

Self-Assessment: Qualifies for Honors

Assessments one through three were turned in on time, despite Assessment 2b and Assessment 3 not being as strong as I would have preferred.  All Assessments to date are being revised with a greater depth of comments as shown by this website in order to qualify for Honors.  The MLA format is reflected properly in by bibliography, which has all sources I have used to date.

My weekly narratives are extensive, showing my progress in the research and applied phases while also showing my difficulties.  I compile my narratives every Monday so that they are available for my weekly mentor meeting the following day.

Physical evidence has been documented, primarily in the form of printed web sites with handwritten annotations concerning key elements and thoughts surrounded the material.  I am currently in the process of transferring this onto this website with more extensive materials.

Mentor Assessment: Qualifies for Honors

Ryan clearly has spent a great deal of time reviewing the rubrics and making sure his work achieves honors.  He has been working with Peggy Silva on the written components of his applied piece to make sure it meets the last bullet point of Assessment 4's Honors Qualification.

This project is dedicated to the crew of STS-107.

May we learn from our mistakes and improve the safety of manned spaceflight.
