UL 1446 Class B Furukawa Electrical Insulation System FIS-B1
Furukawa Electric has completed UL 1446 testing
utilizing TEX-E, a triple insulated reinforced winding wire. TEX-E
is suitable for UL 1446 Class B
applications. Conductor sizes available are 0.20mm (approx. #32 AWG)
to 1.0mm (approx. #18 AWG). The inner two insulation layers are
a thermal resistant modified polyester and the outer layer is
polyamide.
All conductor sizes are solderable. TEX-E is rated 1000Vrms
maximum working voltage. Safety certification standards include UL
1950-3e, IEC 60950-3e and IEC 60065-6e.
FSX-E Basic Insulated Wire; Expanded range of wire diameters
available, 0.10mm (approx. #38 AWG) to 0.19mm (approx. #33AWG)
Furukawa Electric has begun manufacturing FSX-E,
a basic insulated winding wire, with expanded range of wire diameters
from 0.10mm (approx. #38 AWG) to 0.19mm (approx. #33 AWG). The FSX-E
insulation layer is a thermal resistant modified polyester over a
polyurethane enamelled copper wire. FSX-E was developed for
telecommunications network voltage applications. FSX-E is rated
354V peak or maximum working voltage. Safety certification standards
include UL 1950, IEC 60950 and IEC 60065.
FWX-E Supplementary Insulated Wire; Expanded range of
wire diameters available, 0.10mm (approx. #38 AWG) to 0.19mm (approx.
#33AWG)

a supplementary insulated winding wire, with expanded range of wire
diameters from 0.10mm (approx. #38 AWG) to 0.19mm (approx. #33 AWG).
The FWX-E insulation layers are a thermal resistant modified
polyester over a polyurethane enamelled copper wire, with an outer
layer of polyamide. FWX-E was developed for telecommunications
network voltage applications.FWX-E is rated 354V peak or maximum
working voltage. Safety certification standards include UL 1950, IEC
60950 and IEC 60065.
